an Object
An instructional infographic of a handheld steam iron breaking down its parts and demonstrating how it is used. The process of designing this visualization explores how an object can be visualized to show both its components and functions. This infographic was designed in Adobe Illustrator for tabloid size, landscape orientation.
Cardiovascular Data
Graphic representation of the number of deaths attributed to cardiovascular disease in South-East Asian countries from 1999 to 2019. The statistics was uploaded onto Datawrapper to create charts as a starting point, which are then traced and designed in Figma. The data for each year is represented in a doughnut chart, with each slice decreasing in size compared to the previous to accommodate for the significantly smaller value(s) of some countries compared to others.
an Experience
Data visualization of the prominent sounds I heard during each hour of a day, mapped against the perceived productivity of that hour. The sounds are separated into background and foreground sounds, then further broken down into different types. Each song I listened to was categorized by the primary emotion and visualized by colours. This visualization was designed using Figma.
Personal Consumption
A calendar visualization of my coffee purchases from Tim Hortons throughout 2023. Each purchase was shown by the serving size. Similar to the previous graphic, this infographic uses Figma to visualize an experience, but with more objective data.
Caffeine Data
An infographic of the main reasons U.S. college students consume caffeinated beverages, with additional caffeine-related information on the side. The statistics were first uploaded to Tableau to create the tree map which is then redesigned in Figma.
Sleep Behaviours
Data visualization of U.S. college students' sleep behaviours by the frequency they experience those behaviours. The statistics was taken from a 2022 report by American College Health Association and visualized in Figma.
